BESTEC undertook work in conjunction with the Electrical Contractor to complete and deliver the Electrical Services design of the new Casey Hospital Redevelopment Building under a design and construct arrangement.
The project saw the construction of a new clinical Tower housing six new operating theatres, CSSD, intensive care wing, day surgery unit and over 120 inpatient beds.
In conjunction with the new building, was the refurbishment and extension of the existing hospital incorporating new front entry building with new café and education facilities, refurbishment of the kitchen, new pharmacy area including sterile manufacturing suite, pathology and back of house areas.
The Electrical Services included external carpark lighting, extension to the site generator capacity, new substation building and extensive electrical services cabling infrastructure.
